The ability for a spirit to communicate electrically with audio electronic devices is called “Electronic Voice Phenomenon” or EVP. We have had our spirits talk to us through not only digital recorders, but also have found them talking on our Zoom audio, and even cellphone! Think of the amount of energy they have to expend to break through to our side. They need to be heard.

We as humans are spirit beings having a physical experience. When we lose our physical body (through death, out of body astral projection, or near-death state of physical being such as comas) our electrical energy still continues. This disembodied soul is still “living” in spirit form as electrical energy. The electrical energy field of these “living” spirits can interact with anything electrical in nature. They can turn TVs, radios, lights, ceiling fans, and many things on or off, or interfere with their normal operations. They can induce surges of electric energy to blow lightbulbs, set off smoke detectors, and many other phenomena people associate with “hauntings”. What must be understood is a haunting by some is nothing more than a disembodied soul trying to sort of get the physically living peoples attention, i.e. to communicate with the living.

Yes, some of the communication is nefarious, in other words, the spirit doesn’t like you, the changes to their normal environment, or other reasons, such as how their culture was mistreated. I would venture to say that most communications from the other side, though, is nothing more than people…. YES, people on the other side trying to get our attention and pass on a feeling or a message to resolve an issue that has caused them to be earthbound, and not moved on to the Light after their passing. Plain and simple, most “ghosts” are people that simply lost their body. They are still people like you and I living in the physical world. They simply lost their physical, but they are still electrical. They are still themselves. Just stranded in this in between world. And that is what we do as a Team is to “listen” to these people to find out what they need for peace so they can let go and move on to The Light.

Knowing that these people are physically dead, but still alive electrically, we can listen to electrical devices for communications from these disembodied spirits. This can include RF sensitive devices such as a K2 meter that lights up when electrical energy is near.
